Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Laravel Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, specifically with the Laravel framework. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications on the portal and premium service platforms.
Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API.
Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as a liaison between development staff and project manager.
Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Laravel Developer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel framework.
Understanding of the MVC design patterns.
Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.
Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design.
Knowledge of version control tools, such as Git.
Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and their consumption.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a team player.
Nice to Have:
Experience with AWS or other cloud services.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
