Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces that meet the specifications of the projects.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, adhering to coding standards and best practices in Laravel development.
- Utilize MySQL databases to design and manage database structures, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the frontend and backend components of web applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing to improve overall project quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in the application, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Maintain version control using tools like Git to track changes and manage collaborative development efforts among team members.
- Engage in continuous learning to keep up to date with the latest development trends, frameworks, and technologies relevant to the Laravel ecosystem.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to provide updates on progress and roadblocks, fostering effective team communication.
- Assist in writing technical documentation for the application features, code, and APIs to aid future maintenance and onboarding processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in PHP programming and solid understanding of the Laravel framework.
- Knowledge of MySQL database management and experience with writing complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop and customize frontend components of web applications.
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation for robust application integration.
- Understanding of version control systems, especially Git, to efficiently manage code changes and collaborate with other developers.
- Strong debugging skills to identify, analyze, and resolve application issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some experience with frontend frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React) or CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like PHPUnit for unit testing and automated testing of Laravel applications.
- Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and their application deployment models is desirable.

- Participation in open-source projects or contributions to the developer community are advantageous.
